Insurers, police and judiciary put the pressure on thieves of yachts and motorboats. After years comes, like cars, a nationwide database of disappeared vessels.
An estimated more than a thousand stolen pleasure craft. They are usually boldly sailed the harbor. Smaller boats, such as boats and motor boats on trailers are loaded and sold. Large yachts are just threats to another port. According to the insurers with the theft each year are involved for about 80 million euros. “The significant theft begins to take shape,” says director Harry Filon of Insurance Vehicle crime.
